Windows, Electronic Mail, Word processing software, Spreadsheet software, Accounting software, Internet browser

Purchasing Clerk Specific Skills:

Review requisition orders for accuracy, Verify stock availability from current inventories, Obtain price quotations from catalogues and suppliers, Prepare purchase orders, Calculate costs of orders, Charge or forward invoices to appropriate accounts, Process purchases, Resolve delivery and other problems with suppliers, Prepare and maintain purchasing files, reports and records, Complete and process international purchase orders


Inventory Clerk Specific Skills:

Unpack items received, Verify receipts and packing slips, Pack items for shipping and distribution, Prepare requisition orders to replenish stock

Additional Skills:

Perform various administrative functions, Prepare price quotations, Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

Transportation/Travel Information:

Valid driver's licence, Own transportation

Other:

International trade experience required, specifically in the European Union or South Africa. Must speak Dutch. Must be a licensed tradesman/woman, familiar with industrial plants.
